Ubiwhere has been working for several years to foster Smart Cities in Portugal, establishing real partnerships with Public Authorities and Municipalities with the aim of providing Portuguese cities with better technology-based information resources to make the best decisions for the quality of life of people and communities. The platform implemented in the Municipality of Guimarães is recognised as a best practice by the European Commission and received the WSA 2021 world reference award in the Government & Citizen Engagement category.
