The mission began on 28 January at ICS-FEUP, with a welcome session by Cluster Habitat Sustent\u00e1vel and ICS-FEUP, followed by presentations by the EEA Grants Portugal Environment Programme and the Norwegian Embassy in Portugal. The morning ended with presentations by the two clusters involved in this mission,Cluster Habitat Sustent\u00e1vel and the Proptech Innovation Cluster.<\/p>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]In the afternoon, there was a visit to Braga to the CASAIS Group, focused on digitalised construction and prefabrication. Participants had the opportunity to get a closer look at the company’s advanced solutions and explore some of the innovative strategies that are transforming the construction sector.<\/p>\n

The second day of the mission (29 January) began with a guided tour of Amorim Cork Solutions, where the participants were able to take a closer look at various examples of the application of cork in construction. The visit highlighted the potential of this renewable material as an efficient, comfortable and ecologically responsible solution.<\/p>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The group then visited the company PERFISA, which presented its work in the field of light steel framing (LSF) construction and its advantages in various areas such as the rehabilitation and conservation of buildings. They were also given a tour of one of its factories and some of its construction models.<\/p>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]In the afternoon, the participants explored Civilria’s UNIQUE building in Aveiro. This icon of contemporary architecture, designed by architect Eduardo Souto Moura, reflects sustainable construction practices and innovative design principles.<\/p>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The event culminated at the University of Aveiro, where a networking and matchmaking event was held, centred on the challenge of the green and digital transition, between members of the two clusters, Cluster Habitat Sustent\u00e1vel and the Proptech Innovation Cluster.<\/p>\n
The challenge, which was attended by the various Norwegian companies taking part in this mission and some members of Cluster Habitat Sustent\u00e1vel, included a presentation session by each organisation, followed by a matchmaking and networking event, the main aim of which was to promote opportunities for collaboration between members of the two clusters.<\/p>\n
