Its main objective was to provide training and demonstrate technologies relevant to digital transformation, focusing on topics such as advanced digital skills training, the application of Artificial Intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, and other digital solutions.<\/p>\n

The event was kicked off by Joaquim Manuel Fernandes Brigas, representing IPG, followed by a presentation of the PTCentroDiH project by Andr\u00e9 Garcia Vieira de S\u00e1, also from IPG.<\/p>\n

Following these presentations, Lu\u00eds Miguel Silva (TCE.PT Cluster) led a Digital Maturity Assessment Exercise, which allowed the participating companies to assess their level of digitalization and identify opportunities for improvement.<\/p>\n

The Technology Training Session that followed included several pitches presenting innovative technologies and projects developed by PTCentroDiH partners:<\/p>\n
– Andr\u00e9 Garcia Vieira de S\u00e1 (IPG) addressed the topic \u201cPractical application of emerging technologies to protect people, property, and assets,\u201d highlighting the use of technologies such as smart sensors and data analysis to enhance security and risk prevention.<\/p>\n
– Hugo Filipe (IPG) presented the topic \u201cRePo-SUDOE: A Transnational Network for the Repurposing of Drugs in the SUDOE Region,\u201d explaining how international cooperation and digital tools contribute to finding new uses for existing medicines.<\/p>\n
– Catarina Silva (UC) addressed the topic of \u201cResponsible Artificial Intelligence,\u201d emphasizing the importance of developing AI solutions based on ethical principles such as transparency, fairness, and security.<\/p>\n
– Alberto Cardoso and Catarina Silva (UC) presented the topic \u201cIntelligent Analysis of Sensor Data: The SenForFire Case Study,\u201d demonstrating how artificial intelligence can be applied to environmental monitoring and early fire detection.<\/p>\n
– Alberto Cardoso (UC) discussed the topic \u201cPredictive Maintenance: ReMAP and KYKLOS 4.0 Case Studies,\u201d highlighting how data analysis enables the anticipation of equipment failures and improves operational efficiency.<\/p>\n
– Isabel Ferreira (AIBILI) addressed the topic \u201cFrom Collection to Intelligence: EVICR.net Eye Platform for the Reuse of Organized European Ophthalmology Data in AI Innovation,\u201d explaining how the structured reuse of clinical data in ophthalmology can drive the development of artificial intelligence solutions applied to the healthcare sector.<\/p>\n
– Francisco Silva and Carlos Costa (CTCV) presented the topic \u201cXR-GRIT – Gamified XR Platform for Robotics Instruction and Training,\u201d highlighting the use of extended reality and gamification to make robotics training more interactive and effective.<\/p>\n
– Filipe S\u00e1, Nuno Cid, and Jos\u00e9 Marinho (IPC) addressed the topic \u201cRealities That Transform Business,\u201d demonstrating how technologies such as virtual and augmented reality can drive innovation and transform business processes.<\/p>\n

This was followed by the Technology Demonstration Session – \u201cTest Before Invest\u201d- which gave participants the opportunity to see firsthand the technological solutions and prototypes developed by the project partners.<\/p>\n

Focusing on areas such as advanced digital skills, artificial intelligence, and virtual and augmented reality, this initiative once again underscored PTCentroDiH\u2019s role in promoting the digital transformation of businesses and other organizations, thereby contributing to increased competitiveness and innovation in the regional economy.<\/p>\n
