In these 4 days, the partners of the EXCELIVING<\/strong> project (5 European clusters, including the Sustainable Habitat Cluster) and some of its stakeholders, gathered around the theme of “Innovative products and business models in the furniture in Habitat value chain in Barcelona<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n On the first day of the event, after the presentation of the project<\/strong> and all participating entities<\/strong> (partners and visiting entities), two visits<\/strong> were made: the first to the WEcontract BCN showroom<\/strong>, a project in which 15 entities from the hospitality sector participate, and then to MATERFAD<\/strong>, the Barcelona\u2019s Materials Centre.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The second day was divided into four themed tours<\/strong> around the city of Barcelona: Tour 1<\/u><\/strong>: \u201cCircular Economy\u201d; Tour 2<\/u><\/strong>: \u201cDigitalization\u201d; Tour 3<\/u><\/strong>: \u201cInnovation and Social Innovation\u201d e Tour 4<\/u><\/strong>: \u201cInnovation and Startup\u201d. These thematic visits had the main objective of presenting innovative products<\/strong> and business models<\/strong>, within the furniture<\/strong> and smart spaces <\/strong> sectors in the Habitat<\/strong> value chain.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n On the third day, a visit to the \u201cinterihotel<\/strong>\u201d fair was carried out, in which participants had the opportunity to discover three \u201cconcept rooms<\/strong>\u201d and their innovative proposals, not only from the point of view of interior design, but also as business models. The day ended with a cultural visit<\/strong> to the historic center of Barcelona.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Finally, on the fourth and last day, different networking sessions<\/strong> were held between the participating entities.
