[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]This conference, moderated by Alvaro Luna of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), kicked off on April 20 with a presentation<\/strong> by Onyx Solar (Tom\u00e1s del Ca\u00f1o) and was followed by four more interventions by SUDOKET<\/strong> project partners on pilot demonstration facilities based on KETs for Innovative Buildings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

First, the demonstrator “KET SUPPLY<\/strong> – Solar Supply Systems” was presented by S. Bouchackour (CDER), A. Luna and J. Castro (UPC), followed by “KET MATERIALS<\/strong> – Advanced Construction Materials and Systems<\/strong>” by A. Corredera (CARTIF), F. Rebelo and R. Vicente (University of Aveiro).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The third demonstrator \u201cKET OPERATION<\/strong> – Intelligent EI Management) was made known by J.M. Louren\u00e7o (LNEG), Jorge Fac\u00e3o (LNEG) and Daniel Aelenei (NOVA School of Science and Technology) and, finally, the \u201cKET STORAGE<\/strong> – Systems of Thermal Energy Storage\u201d was presented by Z. Aketouane (Nobatek\/INEF4) and Asier Sanz (Tecnalia).<\/p>\n

This first day also featured an Industrial Workshop<\/strong> where solutions from some companies were disclosed, such as \u201cCleanwatts – the path to carbon neutrality\u201d presented by J. Basilio Sim\u00f5es and Luisa Matos of Virtual Power Solutions, \u201cSenergyforce – the efficient solar facade\u201d by A. Teixeira of AT Solar, the \u201cHybrid Control Applications for Energy Management in Buildings\u201d by J. \u00c1lvarez of GPTech and the \u201cData Analysis Applied to Energy Management in Buildings\u201d by X. Cipriano from BeeData.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The second and last day of the CRAKETIB<\/strong> conference was composed by a Scientific Seminar<\/strong>, in which results and RD projects were presented, such as \u201cIntelligent glass for energy efficient buildings” by M. Manca (Leitat), or the case of \u201dInnovative materials for curtain wall solutions” by J. Corker (Pedro Nunes Institute), followed by presentations on \u201cThermal comfort and implications of energy efficiency in service buildings\u201d by N. Forcada (UPC) and on \u201cThermal insulation in prefabrication\u201d by L. Gil (UPC).<\/p>\n

The research project SUDOKET – Mapping, consolidation and dissemination of Key Enabling Technologies (KETs) for the construction sector in the SUDOE space <\/strong>is funded by the INTERREG SUDOE program, is coordinated by Fundaci\u00f3n Universidad Loyola Andaluc\u00eda and has the following partners: Fundaci\u00f3n CARTIF, Fundaci\u00f3n CIRCE, Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Catalunya, TECNALIA, CTA, NOBATEK\/INEF4, LNEG, Cluster Habitat Sustent\u00e1vel, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Institut Polytechnique de Bordeaux, Cluster Od\u00e9ys and the University of Aveiro.<\/p>\n
