The seminar held on December 6 marked the closing of the project. The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Miguel Cruz from IAPMEI and the team involved in the project.
The project, focused on companies in the habitat meta-sector, analyzes innovation management models, encompassing all aspects of the business, from organizational to marketing. It is based on the exchange of experiences and knowledge and mutual learning among companies.
From the activities carried out over the two years of the project, a best practices manual in innovation management has been produced, included on the project CD, with the objectives of disseminating best innovation practices and encouraging the adoption of a culture favorable to innovation. The CD can be requested from InovaDomus via email.
The Best Practices Manual in Innovation is available in PDF format.
The manual resulting from INNOV aims to be a guide for the adoption of innovation management practices and solutions, emphasizing best practices while also acknowledging poor practices to recognize and identify what should not be done. This manual is directed towards, and constitutes an added value primarily for, companies, organizations, and innovation professionals (managers, consultants, and specialists). It addresses various dimensions of innovation management and has the advantage of including different perspectives and interpretations.
The main objectives are to help structure and systematize innovation processes; influence individuals and companies to improve their modus operandi; and promote reflection, debate, and the sharing of visions, practices, and solutions.
The project involved two fundamental actions:
- Conducting individual diagnostics for companies, which led to the definition of innovation roadmaps, and
- Sharing good (and poor) practices during the discussion sessions held at each participating company.
The manual provides systematized information on a set of principles that should be considered, mentions intervention areas (projects), and presents some suggestions/examples of intervention based on work developed and validated with this group of companies.
The following entities were involved in the project:
Associates: EEE, Efapel, Extrusal, Iberfibran, OLI, Pavicentro, Rederia, Revigrés, Weber, Somague and University of Aveiro.
Other companies involved: Larus, Petibol and Umbelino Monteiro.
The manual is available on CD, which can be requested from InovaDomus, or as a downloadable document on our website at www.inovadomus.pt/innov .
