Personal Data Protection

For Cluster Habitat Sustentável, the confidentiality and integrity of the personal data of its associates, customers or partners is very important. The use of data will always be carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 27 April 2016), on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data.

This Personal Data Protection and Privacy Policy aims to inform you how personal data is used, how personal data can be updated, managed or deleted, as well as ways to contact those responsible for processing it.

1. PURPOSE OF PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED BY THE SUSTAINABLE HABITAT CLUSTER

Data collected for various purposes are treated and processed under terms approved by the National Data Protection Commission (CNPD). The Sustainable Habitat Cluster requires, from the holder of personal data, free and explicit consent for the processing of these, in the various categories, such as commercial relationships, contractual or pre-contractual relationships, audits, integrity and safety of facilities and equipment, in financial management and accounting and also for advertising, communication or marketing purposes.

2. FORM OF PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

This request must be sent to the email address: marketing@centrohabitat.net. However, whenever there is a data retention period imposed by law, Cluster Habitat Sustentável reserves the right not to execute the request, informing the holder of the personal data of the respective reasons.

The holder of personal data has the right to lodge a complaint or statement with the Control Authority in Portugal, the National Data Protection Commission (CNPD).

4. TRANSMISSION OF PERSONAL DATA TO THIRD PARTIES

In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation and after prior consent from the holders of personal data, Cluster Habitat Sustentável may transmit them to third parties, in accordance with what is defined in number 10 of article 4 of the GDPR, in compliance with legal duties, regulatory, pre-contractual or contractual obligations, namely public authorities responsible for control and auditing duties and/or partners in activities, projects or services.

Likewise, the Sustainable Habitat Cluster may, throughout its activity, subcontract other entities to process personal data on its behalf, after prior consent from the holders of the personal data. In these cases, Cluster Habitat Sustentável will only use subcontractors that present sufficient guarantees of carrying out appropriate technical and organizational measures, so that the processing meets the requirements of this Privacy Policy and ensures the defense of the rights of the Holder of personal data.

5. ANALYTICAL INFORMATION COLLECTED THROUGH OTHER TECHNICAL MEANS

Cluster Habitat Sustentável uses Google Analytics in order to monitor and collect statistical information regarding the general use of the Cluster Habitat Sustentável website, namely demographic and geographic information, information relating to the type of browser and operating systems used, behavior on the website, dates and website access hours.

The data used for this purpose does not contain personally identifiable information or private information, any personal data that could identify you individually in relation to your use of the Website is not stored.

6. RESPONSIBLE FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

The Sustainable Habitat Cluster is responsible for the collection, processing, conservation, anonymization and/or deletion of personal data of its associates, partners, customers or suppliers.

Any question regarding the use of personal data must be submitted to the email address marketing@centrohabitat.net or via letter addressed to the Sustainable Habitat Cluster.

In fulfilling its responsibilities, and in accordance with the terms and deadlines set out in article 33 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Sustainable Habitat Cluster will notify the National Data Protection Commission (CNPD), whenever it becomes aware of any event of personal data breach, as defined in number 12 of article 4 of the GDPR.

The Sustainable Habitat Cluster is committed to:

– Treat data lawfully and fairly, collecting only relevant information necessary for the purpose for which it is intended;

– Do not use the data collected for purposes incompatible with those for collection;

– Ensure, whenever required, that express consent is obtained from the data subject;

– Allow access and change of personal information to the data subject;
