This workshop aimed to address the theme “Health and Comfort in Habitat”, bringing innovative solutions that are being designed within the scope of the Agenda and that aim to improve the quality of life of people in built spaces.
47 participants attended the Workshop, which featured a Panel called “Health and Comfort in Habitat – Agenda Solutions” led by Vasco Lagarto, who was in charge of moderating the set of presentations that were part of the workshop program and also the debate, whose Panel was composed of Sarah Bogas (CeNTI), António Teixeira and Pedro Carvalho (University of Aveiro), Luís Rodrigues (Maxiplás), Patrícia Fernandes (CeNTI), Romeu Vicente (University of Aveiro) and Janine Ferreira (InovaDomus). The opening and closing sessions were in charge of Nelson Ferreira (BOSCH Termotecnologia) and João Veloso (University of Aveiro), respectively.
During the presentation of the projects, innovative solutions were discussed, such as the integration of sensors for measuring environmental parameters, ventilated façade systems and smart roofs.
These solutions have demonstrated how it is possible to promote the comfort and health of people in these spaces, through energy-efficient ideas!
In addition, the importance of integrating sensors in bathrooms to monitor air quality and the health of users was presented, as well as the installation of panels for better control of indoor temperature.
