Sustainable building materials and systems; energy, water and material efficiency in construction and rehabilitation; challenges of the Circular Economy for a sustainable Habitat; challenges of decarbonisation and energy transition for Habitat; and digital transformation in the Habitat value chain were the topics chosen for debate in this session, which was supported by Cluster Habitat Sustentável.
The first part of the event consisted of a round table whose speakers were Victor Ferreira, from the Cluster Habitat Sustentável and two members of the Cluster, José Matos, from APCMC – Portuguese Association of Construction Materials; and António B. Dias, from CTCV – Technological Center for Ceramics and Glass.
The second and last part of the event had a thematic meeting and a moment of debate, where Victor Francisco from CTCV – Technological Center for Ceramics and Glass, Jaime Silva from Concexec, Augusto Teixeira from TT, Ricardo Tavares from Areadobras (Cluster Associates) and Inês Secca Ruivo from Évora’s University presented, through individual pitches, some trends, projects, cases and disruptive technologies related to the theme.
