Project Overview:
This project aims to develop, on a laboratory scale, functional prototypes of integrated, high-efficiency photovoltaic ceramic products for building cladding (roof tiles and façade cladding) incorporating photovoltaic thin films.
The aim is for the prototypes to be characterized by high aesthetic quality and technical performance.
The films under consideration are of the nanocrystalline silicon or polymorph type, the latest generation of photovoltaic materials. The main problem to be investigated is the proof of concept for the deposition of photovoltaic thin films on ceramic materials.
