The event began with the presentation of the main results of the project, carried out by the Vice-Rector of the University of Aveiro, Dr. which was followed by an open debate session between experts, dedicated to the topics of circularity, sustainability e digitalizationin construction.
This debate, moderated by Cluster Habitat Sustentável, included the participation of experts who interacted with the project in different ways during its execution (2020-2023), namely Cristina Rocha from LNEG (National Energy and Geology Laboratory), Joaquim Danado from StratBIM, Manuel Duarte Pinheiro from Instituto Superior Técnico and Pedro Mêda from Instituto da Construção of FEUP.
The event culminated in the closing session, with the intervention of Dr. Susana Escária (General Secretariat for the Environment).

UAveiroGreenBuilding is a project financed by EEA Grants under the Environment program, led by the University of Aveiro in partnership with Cluster Habitat Sustentável (Portugal) and the Evris Foundation (Iceland), whose central objective was to develop a methodology that would allow the application of CircularEconomy principles in construction projects.
