The event kicked off with an opening session by Prof Victor Ferreira, President of Cluster Habitat Sustentável, who spoke about the “Challenges of the Digital Transition in the Habitat Value Chain“, followed by Pedro Mêda from the Institute for Sustainable Construction (ICS-FEUP), who presented various issues involving “Digital Product Passports“, highlighting their relevance for the future of companies in this value chain.
The session ended with a panel debate entitled “Paths to Digitalisation in Construction“, moderated by Victor Ferreira (Cluster Habitat Sustentável) and Pedro Mêda (ICS-FEUP), where different approaches to the challenges, opportunities and trends of digital technologies in the construction sector were presented and discussed. This panel included interventions by José de Matos from APCMC, Sérgio Laranjeira from Grupo Casais, José Ávila e Sousa from Grupo Preceram, Marta Campos from Magnético and Cláudia Antunes from StratBIM.
