This is an area that necessarily requires a multidisciplinary approach and co-operation between various value chains.
Cluster Habitat Sustentável and the TICE Competitiveness Hub, as founding members of the Smart Cities Portugal network, are involved in this network’s Roadshow2014, which is organising 5 workshops between May and October 2014. In addition to the different Competitiveness Clusters (Habitat, Energy, ICT and Mobility), this network also involves Inteli, as the network’s coordinator.
Thus, on 20 May, two workshops will be held in Aveiro (University of Aveiro) dedicated to the theme of Smart Cities, looking at the contributions to this theme of the entities in the value chains/clusters associated with ICT and Habitat: In the morning there will be a workshop on ‘ICT in the context of Smart Cities’, promoted by the ICT Pole and in the afternoon a workshop on ‘Sustainable Construction of Smart Cities’ promoted by Cluster Habitat Sustentável.
