ADLA – Aluminium Extrusion.

Based in the Lameira Industrial Zone in Celorico de Basto, ADLA’s area of activity ranges from extrusion to the sale and processing of aluminium profiles, including the assembly of profiles with thermal breakage and the development of various solutions for use in architecture and industry.
Equipped with a state of the art 2500 ton extrusion press is able to produce up to 800 ton of aluminium profiles every month. With an overall maximum dimension of 320 mm by 20 mm and a maximum weight of 25 kg per meter the press is able to produce profiles with unique characteristics in the market. The thermal break assembly line has an installed capacity of 364 km per month.
With innovation as its main focus, ADLA has developed various quality control systems, including the three-dimensional analysis of aluminium profiles, which makes it possible to check for any occlusions that the parts may have.
ADLA’s main activity is the production of aluminium profiles for general industry and architecture. The main characteristics of the products are durability, lightness, resistance to corrosion and no maintenance requirements. In their various applications, aluminium products have a long service life.
Being 100% recyclable, aluminium products, therefor our profiles, contributes to a more sustainable and greener environment. Among its many applications, we highlight its use in:
– Solar energy devices, major reusable power source;
– Electrical vehicles, the aluminium profile light weightiness contributes for the reduction of the overall vehicle weight, this enables a lower power consumption and lower mechanical wear and tear;
– Architectural applications, mainly for doors, windows and shades: the solutions presented for construction and architecture are an integral part of the so-called “Green Buildings”.
The use of thermally cut profiles in window frame solutions allows natural lighting and thermal comfort to be fully utilised, reducing electricity costs. In addition to thermal insulation, some solutions also allow for greater acoustic insulation, reducing noise pollution within the environment. In addition to thermal insulation, some solutions also provide greater acoustic insulation, reducing noise pollution inside rooms.
The use of aluminium contributes to building a better world and preserving future generations.
