César Rola
A OSCACER – César Rola Lda. is a National Group dedicated to the transformation and commercialization of steel products, operating in the flat and long segments.
Founded in 1977, Oscacer – César Rola, Lda. succeeded the company António Rola, Filhos, initially focused on the trade of ropes and general trade, with its origins dating back to 1907.
The trade of flat steel products began in 1956, and in the mid-80s they inaugurated their service center, providing cut, transverse, and longitudinal material.
In 1989, they established a partnership in long products with the Spanish company Comercial de Laminados, a sector leader in the Iberian Peninsula, giving rise to Ferlito – Ferros do Litoral S.A.
In 2003, Oscacer acquired the 50% of Ferlito belonging to the Comercial de Laminados Group, now part of the German group Klockner, reinforcing its position in the market and becoming a national reference in the steel products sector.
