Sofalca is a Portuguese company that belongs to Estrada Group SGPS. The company was founded in 1996 and is based in Abrantes. It produces Expanded Black Cork Agglomerate (ICB).
Most of Sofalca’s production goes to the international market, mainly Central Europe (Germany, Austria, Italy and United Kingdom) and Japan, where the cork agglomerate, as a strong ecological form of isolation, is highly appreciated.
