UMBELINO MONTEIRO, aware of the sustainability and energy efficiency efforts, worked on the development of a solution for ventilated roofs.
The Ventilated Roofing System consists of a constructive solution which works through a ventilated air gap from the eaves to the ridge, integrating different fixing techniques and strategies in the support structure and in the tiles.
This constructive solution contributes to the optimization of ceramic roofs, adding important performances such as the longevity of the tile and the entire roof structure, reduced maintenance and natural thermal comfort of the houses.
The ceramic accessories and the line of specifically developed components are essential for the proper functioning of the roofs, ensuring ventilation and air circulation, essential for the efficiency of the system.
The main goals of ventilation are to eliminate water steam, ventilate the roof elements, dry the materials, improve the natural thermal comfort and balance the temperature and humidity inside.
