Cluster Habitat Sustentável participates in a webinar on circular economy in the construction sector: “ReBuild 17: Building Circularity”

On February 4, 2021, Cluster Habitat Sustentável participated in a round table on “Construction Waste: Challenges and Opportunities, Disposal or Recovery”, included in “ReBuild 17: Building Circularity”, a webinar on circular economy in the construction sector.

This invitation, which the Cluster accepted with great pleasure, came from ReBuild 17, a project aimed at promoting the circular economy in the construction sector, supported by the financial mechanism EEA Grants and which results from the cooperation between the Government of the Azores, through the Regional Laboratory of Civil Engineering (LREC), Fibrenamics Azores, via Centro Inovação de Materiais Produtos Avançados (CIMPA), and the Icelandic company ReSource International.

The mission of this project is to promote cooperation between the various parties involved in the sector with a view to reducing construction and demolition waste and promoting materials and products that incorporate materials recovered from waste, being essential to foster collaboration in order to facilitate the creation of new solutions that contribute to the circularity of the economy, through the recovery of waste.
