On 22 January 2025, at 2pm, the headquarters of the Centro Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR Centro) in Coimbra will host the final session of the STEP Open Days. This cycle of events, organised by the Agency for Development and Cohesion (AD&C) in partnership with the CCDRs, aimed to present STEP – the Strategic Technologies Platform for Europe. Cluster Habitat Sustentável was invited to take part in one of the panels at the event on 22 January in Coimbra, so we invite anyone interested to register below.
STEP is a European Union initiative designed to strengthen European industry by promoting investment in critical technologies in the digital, clean technology and biotechnology sectors. The aim is to reduce external dependence and increase Europe’s competitiveness and resilience in these strategic areas.
During the STEP Open Days, participants will have the opportunity to:
- Get detailed information about the STEP initiative and the funding opportunities available, both at national and European level, including programmes such as Portugal 2030, Horizon Europe, the Innovation Fund and the Digital Europe Programme.
- Understand how the STEP Label works, a new tool that aims to give visibility and facilitate the financing of projects aligned with the platform’s objectives.
- Learn about projects under development in the sectors covered by STEP.
- Participate in round tables that bring together various players from the digital, clean technology and biotechnology sectors.
- Take advantage of networking moments to present projects and discuss funding opportunities.
