Focused on the area of “Healthy and Active Living”, the ACTIVAS Project (Environments built for an active, safe and healthy life), which brings together a consortium of 20 entities from the Habitat, TICE and Health value chains (12 companies, 2 clusters , 1 IPSS and 5 entities of the scientific-technological system), seeks to respond to the challenges of active aging of the population in terms of the assisted environment, cities and built spaces. The main objective of this webinar was to promote discussion around these topics.
After the opening by the president of Cluster Habitat Sustentável, Victor Ferreira, the session started with a global presentation of ACTIVAS, by Pedro Meira, CEO of Kentra Technologies (promoter of the project), after which was presented “The Legacy of the AAL Program and the Implementation of Health Care Ecosystems” by Sandra Fernandes from FCT (Foundation for Science and Technology) and also some “Current Financing Opportunities” by Afonso Duarte from AICIB (Agency for Clinical Research and Biomedical Innovation).
The webinar also featured a round table, moderated by Pedro Roseiro (TICE.PT Cluster), where the themes presented throughout the session were addressed and in which Carina Dantas (SHINE 2Europe, Lda.), António Cunha (IPN – Instituto Pedro Nunes) and Afonso Duarte (AICIB) participated.
