Umbelino Monteiro has participated in various projects aimed at reducing the environmental impact of ceramic tiles, through the redesign of tiles and the decarbonisation of processes, among others.
By implementing Ecodesign, the company has also been able to reduce CO2 emissions when transporting products, since Umbelino Monteiro’s ceramic tiles, being lighter and thinner than those available on the market, allow a greater quantity of materials to be transported on each journey.
