The new directive, published on 8 May 2024, establishes that all new buildings in the European Union must be zero-emission from 2030, with public buildings meeting this requirement as early as 2028. In addition, member states are encouraged to implement measures to reduce primary energy consumption in at least 16% of residential buildings by 2030 and 22% by 2035.
This webinar presented the main challenges and opportunities arising from these new requirements, as well as strategies for their effective implementation.
