The GROUP aimed, on one hand, to showcase the materials produced by the companies that are part of it, namely Argex, Gyptec, and Preceram, and on the other hand, to provide the public with technical advice on new products and solutions developed.
At a time when the end consumer is more demanding and involved in the decision-making process, the real-scale exhibition of validated and tested solutions proved to be a significant asset during the event.
With a strong focus on sustainability and rehabilitation, the application demonstrations at the stand captured the attention of visitors, who showed great interest in finding concrete answers to their demands.
The presence at Tektónica 2012 primarily focused on conveying information and knowledge through training actions developed both theoretically and practically. The Preceram Group Academy “Solutions for Construction” was highly successful, resulting in full rooms of attendees from various areas related to construction over the four days of training.
This initiative by the Group benefited from the exemplary collaboration of excellent speakers from partner companies and entities, namely Barbot, Sustainable Construction Portal, Amorim Insulations, Siro, IteCons, Clorofila, and Zanet. Each day, these theoretical trainings were complemented by practical demonstrations of material applications by qualified technicians.
Noteworthy is the significant interest generated by the new panel produced by Gyptec Ibérica. GYPCORK was presented to the public for the first time at Tektónica, representing a sustainable national solution made of Gyptec laminated plasterboard with integrated insulation made of expanded cork agglomerate (ICB) from Amorim Insulations.
The presence at Tektónica 2012 was also recognized by the organization with the “Academy Promoter” award, highlighting the effort and dedication of the entire Preceram Group team. Proactivity and a different approach were key to the positive balance of the event during a time of significant downturn in the national market.
